Band Booster Volunteer Information

We are always looking for volunteers for the Marching Season. If you are interested but have not registered through Charms, please do so. You may also send an e-mail of your interest to jobbvolunteers@gmail.com. A general description of our volunteer groups is below.

Chaperones: Attend Games and Contests, Ride the Bus to events, distribute water, bandages, hair ties etc. We are the “Moms and Dads” for the entire band. We do not critique the show, we encourage, guide and protect.

Pit Crew: Attend Games and Contests, load and unload trucks and get “pit” equipment on and off of the field in a timely, orderly manner.

Uniform Assistants: We handle all the aspects of the uniform from fitting the students to maintenance of the uniforms each week. We generally work one night at week – usually Thursday getting the uniforms ready for the week’s activities. You do NOT need to be able to SEW!! The pants and jackets have snaps! Sometimes, light hemming might be needed but rarely. You do not necessarily have to be at every event that the band does, however, it is important for consistency sake that you are able to be there about 95% of the time (games and competitions especially).
